Pain Leads to Purpose for Reggie Littlejohn, Speaker at the Silicon Valley Prayer Breakfast

Reggie Littlejohn delivered a compelling testimony at the Silicon Valley Prayer Breakfast on March 28, 2014.  The 600 people in attendance were spellbound by her story.   She suffered through two miscarriages and a double mastectomy, followed by an MRSA staph infection that kept her bedridden for five years.  At one point, she prayed what she called a “dangerous prayer.”  “I prayed that God would break my heart for whatever breaks his heart.”

God used her suffering and her experience as an attorney representing a woman who had been forcibly sterilized in China to answer Littlejohn’s prayer and give her purpose.   God broke her heart to expose the abuses perpetrated on women and girls due to China’s One Child Policy.

She founded Women’s Rights Without Frontiers to address those issues, and was named by Inside the Vatican Magazine as one of its 2013 Top People in the World for her untiring work.

Below are both a brief video clip of Littlejohn’s talk and the complete video of her message.

Rescued to Serve

Following is a personal story — a story about how a near-fatal incident transformed the life of my mother, Lil Vaccarello, who turned 100 years old this month (July 2021). She is an inspiration to me and a significant reason for my faith and the work I have done in Silicon Valley. _________________ Palm Sunday,

Helping Children Know Jesus

It changed the trajectory of my life, with Jesus becoming the central focus of my life, affecting my purpose, mission, and my work and family life. Saturday night, April 24, I told this
